Dr Reji Thomas is a paediatrician with more than 20 years of experience in child health. He practiced in India for a few years after obtaining a Diploma in Child Health from Christian Medical College, Vellore. He completed a dual Fellowship in General Paediatrics and Neonatology in Australia in 2015. He then worked as a consultant paediatrician at the Mount Gambier and Districts Health Service in South Australia. He joined the Latrobe Regional Hospital in 2019 and currently works part-time.

Dr Thomas is proficient in managing a variety of neonatal and paediatric presentations. He understands the complexity and multidisciplinary care needed in treating paediatric behavior and neurodevelopmental problems.

As a neonatologist he monitors growth and development of premature born infants and complex neonatal presentations.

He advocates for children and families and provides comprehensive, exceptional, and compassionate care.

Outside of work Dr Thomas enjoys spending time with family and friends, travelling, reading, and watching movies.
